Harvesting in the rain
Last weekend provided a reminder that it is in fact winter with a combination of wind, rain and low temperatures that laid waste to our plans of holding a working bee. Not to be deterred I braved the elements for a harvest that was converted into a an almost vegetarian gumbo, complete with cajun spices. I say almost because I did add two small snack size tins of tuna to the mix of eggplant, coriander, spanish onions and hokkien noodles.
